Delete from iOS, Android, or the player website
- Connect the device to the internet and open Genius Quiz.
- Open Settings, then find the Data section.
- Select Delete profile and data.
- Read the confirmation and approve the permanent deletion.
- Wait until the welcome screen appears. If deletion cannot be confirmed by the server, local data is kept and you can retry.
Deleted immediately
- Server profile, rating, scores, achievements, results, question history, settings, and leaderboard presence.
- Related sessions, matchmaking queue entries, and duel records.
- Question reports linked to the device’s anonymous client id.
- Analytics linked to the client id, player id, or related sessions.
- Local profile, gameplay records, pending reports and analytics, session/client ids, and shared-board credentials.
Short-lived or isolated copies
- Shared-board objects expire with their room within 24 hours; room owners can close a room earlier.
- Access-restricted disaster-recovery backups may contain prior live data for up to 30 days before automatic expiry.
- Security logs held by infrastructure providers follow their restricted operational retention schedules.
Uninstalling Genius Quiz or clearing device storage does not reliably send a server-deletion request. Use the in-app flow first while online.
If the app is unavailable
Contact michcher94@icloud.com. Because player accounts do not use email login, we may need a recovery code or device-side identifiers to locate a record and may be unable to associate an email address with an anonymous profile. Do not send identity documents unless we specifically explain why they are legally required.
